Thank you for this.
My son recently left home and moved from the south of England to work in Scotland – not the distance that you have to deal with but still not “just around the corner”. I felt as you do, pleased, proud of his confidence to go off completely on his own at 22 but also aware that a stage of my life has ended – and you are right it is not like when he was at university, this is different, more permanent.
It was good this morning to hear someone else feeling exactly the way I do.
Thank you Anne for commenting. I’m so glad that the video resonated with you. Yes, it’s a strange feeling and a new phase in our lives. Do keep in touch and have a great week.
